HOW A MASCARA CHANGED MY LIFE
“I
had a dream, and I’ve certainly lived it! Saying a mascara changed my
life, may sound like a cliché, but as a Virgin Vie At Home Consultant I
really have earned myself an enviable lifestyle I could only have dreamt
of.”
Seven years ago, Sharon Brown from Scotter, Lincolnshire joined Virgin Vie
At Home when her and husband, Paul, were building a house - she was a
full-time mother looking after two young children Jessica then aged five
and Mollie two, rarely out of builders overalls and desperately looking
for an opportunity to indulge her natural girly passion for make-up and
fashion and build a new network of friends for herself outside of her role
as a mother.
Having attended a Virgin Vie At Home Party in 2000, Sharon found the
gorgeous products addictive and quickly realised the potential of the
business opportunity and how it would fit in perfectly with her family
life – she could indulge her passion for make-up and gorgeous things; it
was a great way for her to meet a new network of friends; she was in
control of her own income and because she could work, when she wanted,
where she wanted, the flexibility of the job fitted in perfectly with her
childcare commitments as a Mother. Since joining Virgin Vie At Home,
Sharon has never looked back!
As an Area Sales Manager and a team of more than 120 in the Lincolnshire
area, many of whom she regards now as close friends, Sharon has grown her
business significantly and has certainly reaped the rewards. In July 2006,
having achieved sales and recruitment targets she received her dream car –
a cream convertible VW Beetle! She’s travelled the world five-star earning
trips through the company incentive programme to Rio, Thailand and a
family holiday in France as well as travelling with her team on the Orient
Express. She’s socialised with Sir Richard Branson on many occasions at
his fabulous Summer Parties on his estate in Oxfordshire and at the Gala
Dinners he has previously attended in London to recognise Virgin Vie At
Home high achievers.
