Following research carried out by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) in 2004 which identified that 15,500 complaints about doorstep selling were made to loacl authority Trading Standard Services (TSS) annually, the OFT has been running awareness campaigns to reduce consumer detriment resulting from rogue doorstep traders
